OSC Player of the Month + Rising Star!
    $125 Monthly Bonus

The OSC team are happy to announce a new reward and player incentive competition for 2016!

Each month the OSC team will vote on who we believe had stand out or breakthrough performances in OSC events. $75 will be awarded to the Player of the Month, and $50 to a Rising Star ($'s in Aud). *This is our starting value for the competition, it may increase.

To be eligible you must be a citizen or permanent resident of ANZ, SEA, NA, L.Am or China. More money invested into our target regions! $1500 a year.

Players who have qualified for WCS Premier League in the past, or qualify for the equivalent in the new format are ineligible for the Rising Star.

POTM award can be won multiple times. Rookie can only be won once, as we aim to showcase and support numerous up and comers.

If you win a POTM, you can't win future Rookie of the Month awards.

Factors that influence voting are: Tournament Wins, Tournament Placings, Bounties Won, Upsets/Scalp Points Won, Challenge Match Results, and Participation.

In addition to this competition, the OSC League runs $ Participation prizes for ANZ/SEA + NA/L.AM, and $ Bounties on offer for those regions to claim. Every Player who finishes in the top 32 of our World Rankings at the end of the year also gets paid! $$

    Play OSC and Win!

    Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship

The Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series (OSC) is the Oceanic, South East Asian, North American and Chinese regional championship, which follows a yearly season format, where players earn points for placing in all partnered tournaments. Although the network is based in and focuses on these regions, many events are open to everyone in the world.

The top 32 players ranked via the OSC Player Leader board at the end of the season are then invited to play in the minimum $5000+ Grand Finale to determine the yearly champion! OSC World Rankings were established in December 2012.

In 2015 OSC partnered tournaments gave away $49735 combined prizepool, we had 189 completed partnered tournaments (up 22% on 2014), and saw 498 individual players with points earned (up 39% on 2014)

Current season rankings and database can be viewed here

GuMiho was 2014's Champion, taking out the $3500 finals series.
PiG was 2013's Champion, taking out the $2100 finals series.

    OSC Supporter Packages

You can show your support towards OSC, and help us put on events for the community for just $8 USD per month! One less chocolate bar/One less beer at the pub/a couple less songs on iTunes, etc, and the money goes towards supporting the scene It's quite common place for players/casters to have a subscription option on twitch tv (which isn't an option for us), and we feel we have much more to give back in terms of entertainment, competition and rewards. Subscribers are also another way we can potentially market ourselves to prospective sponsors, which in turn will result in further growth.

We also provided supporters with bonuses such as event replay packs, and chance to win 1 hour of coaching from top tier players.

If you are interested, you can subscribe here.
    More info here.

    OSC Sponsors!
Without these companies contributing to our tournament it's fair to say the prizepool would be far smaller. But it's not just about the $'s. All these companies have a long history of supporting Starcraft 2 and esports in SEA. They care about the scene and our community. So many thanks to them all! If you esports fans, players etc can send them some love and thanks for supporting SC2 + the Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series it would be appreciated in return. They all are leaders in their industry, so if it comes down to a choice between brands, pick these guys who support esports!

    This will be me...no doubt...

I like the initiative to give more reward (and hype) to players who are starting to break out - brings more attention to those who may be underrated. Seither comes to mind when typing this.
